We had Yma Ymas cater for our wedding out in Ortonville, MI! We ordered food for about 50 people and it was a hit! Everyone loved the food, and people still talk about it after the wedding. The Yma Ymas team did such an amazing job with the food and delivery. Salamat!!!

Saw this place on Chowdowndetroit. Thought it would be a nice place to take my Filipina wife for her birthday meal. It was like walking into a nice simple restaurant back in the Philippines. Even had the Filipino favorite past time a Karaoke machine just like back home. The only thing missing were the chickens running around outside crowing. The owners were warm and welcoming with a sense of humor. The food was just like back in the Philippines flavorful and filling. For the price it was a value for the combo meal the right amount of food for one person or split between 2 for a light meal. Of the 4 of us eating I was a piggy and ate it all but the other 3 had leftovers to take home. They offer other thing Filipino to go items from the little Filipino (Sari-Sari) store they have. Overall, it's a place I would drive to from Lansing (1hr 20 min drive) again for on a special occasion. This is a slice of the Philippines in metro Detroit.

Honestly, not much to add to stellar reviews already here. There is no real official menu since the owners rotate the selection daily. I got the chance to chat with Vangie and praise her for the amazing food. This place is such a gem to check out, we got there at around 1 pm and they were pretty much sold out on most things. The owners are amazing people and the community vibe they have fostered here is awesome with people filing in and out and some sticking around to eat and chat. The food is incredible. It felt like my aunty made me a plate and then topped it off with the best calamansi lemonade (bottomless once you dine in). Will return repeatedly for the barbecue and the lumpias and to try the halo halo.

I had the joy to order carry out from this restaurant and I was very impressed with the flavors and food options. Great fresh food, great variety that changes weekly, and very friendly staff and owners. Good Phillipino cuisine that tastes home made but with restaurant quality dedication. I recommend this place if you want to dive into some good, genuine flavors and have good servise in the process.

This is my absolute favorite Filipino Restaurant. I love the Cozy Ambiance, Excellent Service, the Hospitality and Warmth of the People Serving ❤️ The Food is Phenomenal and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal. I enjoyed every single bite. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Well, no wonder why their food is always sold out even few hours before closing time. Everything is cooked and made with love. I cannot wait to come back and would not hestitate to recommend to anyone looking for a Filipino Restaurant. So, What are you waiting for?
